It’s that time of year again! Young adults across America are saying hello to sunshine and goodbye to inhibitions as the Jager bombs flow like wine, girls are literally going wild, and Daytona Beach looks like the Arctic tundra during penguin mating season. That’s right: Spring Break!
Amidst the joyous chaos, three guitar-wielding party girls - Jenny Owen Youngs, Bess Rogers, and Allison Weiss - will metaphorically take their musical tops off at venues from Nashville to Boston. So grab your bikini, borrow Dad’s car, and leave your better judgment behind because the Spring Break Forever Tour 2010 is coming to a town near you.

Jenny Owen Youngs (New York, NY) is a carbon-based life form who recently released her second album, Transmitter Failure. Her music has been featured on television shows such as WEEDS, Privileged, and A Life Unexpected. Jenny recently toured in Europe with Regina Spektor and in the states with Chuck Ragan’s Revival Tour, Amanda Palmer, Mae, and Jukebox the Ghost. After SB2K10 she will head back to the UK to support Motion City Soundtrack and then begin work on a new album. Also, she thinks you look great today.

Bess Rogers (New York, NY) is a musical chameleon, comfortable in whatever skin she happens to be wearing. Singer, songwriter, recording artist, multi-instrumentalists, collaborator, band mate and session player are just a few of the roles that Bess has played since emerging from the music program at SUNY Purchase. In addition to recording and releasing two independent records of her own, including her latest, the Travel Back EP, Bess records and tours with Ingrid Michaelson and Jenny Owen Youngs, fronts the country/bluegrass 80’s cover band, The Flux Capacitors, and plays guitar and keys in the orchestral/electronic indie rock group, The Age Of Rockets.
